This shirt is a 95% polyester with 5% spandex blend so it is like windbreaker material with a little stretch. Visually it presents with the sheen of a full synthetic/polyester and the pattern is an external print so the inside of the shirt does look like a semi-translucent white (noticeable only if you plan to wear the shirt "open” - when buttoned up this is not at all apparent).The pattern on mine (American flag with eagle) was crisp and the colors were vibrant. The seams are all single stitched but I had no issues with quality - everything was pretty straight and clean with no errant threads.Purchased this as a novelty for a Red, White, and Blue charity event and overall I am happy with the purchase, quality, and value.Note: this does run just a little small - buying your regular size will result in a somewhat fitted cut. Going up one size is a more "classic” relaxed fit.
