My end use was the same as many other reviewers - I have a door hinge on a pantry door that has the screws running down the side along the way over time have loosened the door and made the existing openings larger/flawed and as a result the door no longer closes properly. I bought 4 packs of these little guys just to give it a try based on how easy it looked on the YouTube how-to videos. Of course, after removing the existing screws and inserting one of those dowels into each of the holes, the screws reverted to their previous state, and now the hinge and door are back to normal. Anchors can fill multiple holes, and the holes must be of different sizes. I know this sounds painfully obvious, but if you have, say, 3 same diameter holes that need repairing, you probably won't be able to break an anchor to fill all 3 holes; Instead you will probably need to use the same segment from 3 different anchors to fill 3 holes. Overall a great purchase for my end use and maybe a total of 8-10 minutes of work to get the job done. .
