I love the idea of having a water bottle with a built in water filter as a precaution for emergencies or questionable tap water sources. Removes any weird taste tap water can have. However, due to the filter, the water does not flow freely and requires little effort to drink. I find it like drinking slush through a straw. I don't think it's as bad as some reviewers make it out to be. A small consolation for clean water. If you know you have a clean water source, use it without a filter. Carry the filter with you as a precaution.
