It looks like an iron that my grandmother and mother used (I'm almost 60) and no wonder. This is exactly how an iron should be. Heavy (just feels good in the hand) hot, fast heat-up, totally reliable and adjustable with ONE clearly visible knob/lever; NET temperature/substance types are listed where you see them; ONE port for filtered/distilled water; A simple steam on/off button is easily accessible, right where your thumb is on the handle. "Feels like a professional laundry; I bought a cord basket/holder that keeps the cord up/out of the fabric and it's VERY useful. should have been a year ago. He does it all at once. Don't be put off by the fact that it looks dated, it IS and it's GOOD. Serious; No one could find fault with this beauty.
