These scissors are terrible. Not sure what scissors others have that give good reviews. I bought these to use exclusively on fabric and was very excited as it is a singer brand. Singer makes a lot of good sewing things, but this isn't one of them. These big scissors won't even cut through fabric! I couldn't get him to cut my pattern yesterday and had to resort to old worn out scissors that kids use for everything. If I still had the packaging I would send it back! Unfortunately I threw them away and put the scissors in the sewing basket until I was ready to use them. Save yourself some money and don't buy them.
