This is a nice wooden comb which I ordered along with a set of different wooden combs from another brand. I've had to replace my old combs and prefer to go plastic free. In addition, the tree is not only visually more pleasant, but also more pleasant to the touch. I am very happy with this comb. It does a great job with my very long straight hair that has a little wave underneath which is very annoying. The wave makes my hair tangle easier and clumpy as the straight strands hang over the waves. It's very strange living with my mixed hair. One way or another, the comb works like a comb. It looks exactly like the picture and is really great. It's very smooth and odorless. My complaint relates to the packaging. Unfortunately, due to the incredibly over-the-top packaging, this is nowhere near zero waste. It comes in a giant box with two layers of foam. One layer below, the other above. To make matters worse, the comb is sealed in plastic under vacuum. This huge package means more packaging was needed for shipping. It's absolutely ridiculous to have all that. Crap for a little wooden comb. I didn't deduct a star for the packaging because I ordered a comb, no presentation. However, if you're looking for Zero Waste, you don't need this. On the other hand, if you want to send it as a gift, it will work, but still, man, this box is huge. That's exaggerated.
