Just unscrew about 3/4 and you can remove or add a handle. My door opens
Used as a replacement for my 2007 G6. In fact I dropped the torque screw and it fell into the door and couldn't be removed. I just went to my local hardware store and bought a spare screw (T25 Torx screw) and replaced it with no problems. One thing I found is that you don't have to completely loosen the torx screw. Just unscrew about 3/4 and you can remove or add a handle. My door opens, closes, locks and unlocks with no problems. Feels the same as the original pen.
