Review on Enhanced Dimensional Accuracy of Creality Printer Filament by Ron Turner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Printing is easy, but the color changes slowly

This is high quality PLA filament, but only the largest of your largest 3D prints will benefit from a color changing rainbow pattern. There are around six different colors on the roll I received, which means that most small objects (under around 160g) will only be printed in one or two colours. However, if you're printing epic, multi-day prints or don't mind slow color changes, this is a good filament to work with. Creality recommends a nozzle temperature of 195-220°C, which is above average for PLA. but I had no problem with the regular 200C which I use with other threads. Adhesion to my glass build platform (heated to 60°C) is very strong, significantly better than most PLAs, and I haven't had any major tension issues. Roll packaging is ok, not the cleanest I've seen but it doesn't tangle or snag. shine (like a silk thread, but to a lesser extent). I just want the roll to have more frequent color changes so my regular size prints can benefit from the rainbow effect. Four stars.

Pros
  • Less tangles, no clogs, no bubbles
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
