Printing is easy, but the color changes slowly

This is high quality PLA filament, but only the largest of your largest 3D prints will benefit from a color changing rainbow pattern. There are around six different colors on the roll I received, which means that most small objects (under around 160g) will only be printed in one or two colours. However, if you're printing epic, multi-day prints or don't mind slow color changes, this is a good filament to work with. Creality recommends a nozzle temperature of 195-220°C, which is above average…

Pros
  • Less tangles, no clogs, no bubbles
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

First, this filament glows! I was thrilled to find that this filament actually glowed when placed under an ultraviolet black light. I used it to print a UFO for my Halloween demo so this piece was perfect. The real disappointment was how this spool of filament was designed. There are so many of each color on a roll that you will never see multiple colors in one print project. I would literally have to print with the entire roll to see the entire rainbow. There was a serious lack of intelligence

Pros
  • Highly compatible with most 3D printers
Cons
  • Unreliable

Likes it hot, quick change doesn't fit

It's like regular PLA in every way, except it requires slightly higher hot-end temperatures than I'm used to. As you can see the makeshift turret went down to 180 but then missed the range. From 210 onwards the layers started to lose adhesion so I'm going with 212-216 from now on which is a good 10 degrees more than usual. It also worked as expected with my general PLA settings. Unless you're looking at a huge print (I mean gigantic), you'll see minimal color changes here. You can see the three
