Review on Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 225/50 R17 98T winter by Micha Micha ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

The tires are more for a quiet ride. In general, normal tires, it does not hold the road badly and predictably rulitsya and slows down. Definitely better than our Cordiant and many others, but not up to the best modern tires, but considering the price, EXCELLENT RUBBER! After the break-in, the spikes fell into place and the tire became quiet, it was quiet, before the grinding machine was run in with the roar of an airplane. It's stupid to judge tires without running! Inferior to the new hankook, but better than her after 3 seasons. When comparing the price of 5500r. for the Sailun wheel and from 8600. for Hankook, chosen by Sailun. I drove new and used Michelins, for 1 year it’s just great tires, but starting from the second season, it loses hell knows how many spikes, it becomes different in terms of characteristics, and by season 3 it’s a crazy kama! My choice is Hankuk, I've always been very pleased with 2-3 seasons on this rubber. But I bought Sailun, I do not intend to sell it yet, I will continue to roll.

Pros
  • Price and good features! (5-) handling on dry and wet pavement, (4) on snow. It rides in a straight line and uphill very well and on ice, it also slows down quite predictably (4-). Small spikes hold very well in the tire, the tread is good, moderately soft (4+), durable, everything got into the pits ok. After running in, I skid, all the rules, the spikes are in place. 2022 tires in size 215/65/17, sort of with an ated compound.
Cons
  • If the ride is aggressive, like mine, then it falls short of a sense of confidence and comfort. It is prone to side skid during a sharp turn on porridge and ice (3), it is difficult to confidently go into a sharp turn (3). You need to keep a distance with a good margin and find the right gas. Not perfectly straight, customized, weights 40-110g.
