These lights are amazing! Exactly what we needed. The secret was finding the right dimmer! Lutron diva. We have installed over 250 of these lamps and we love them! We have many lights from Torchstar etc that did not meet the requirements of the dimmers as they would not turn back on if turned off in the lowest dimming position. With these, and with the Lutron Diva, they dim to an almost moonlit glow and, with the switch properly adjusted, come back on at the lowest setting. These are absolutely the best lights I have used and installed (for many years) and they work great. with their recommended Lutron dimmers. Hope this helps :) I'm a builder/pinball player and they have the best shading and consistency of any lights I've used. Again - a loop and a bug with dimmers! Lutron Diva CL worked best!
