Review on Natural Carib Sea ACS00020 Aragonite Reef Sand: Perfect for Your 15-Pound Aquarium by Veronica Cox

I swear the reviews on this product are misleading. I was looking for fine aragonite sand, this is not it. I think I want aragonite granulated sugar. It's only slightly smaller and slightly more uniform than your regular aragonite. It seems more expensive and definitely more junk and dust. I can take their regular CaribSea Aragonite and put it straight into the aquarium without lifting. Yes, it will be cloudy and may take several weeks to fully clear. This "special variety" is particularly dusty. I washed first, thank goodness, a lot of flotsam and a lot of muddy "dusty" water. If I put it straight into the tank I would get pissed. It is not worth buying CaribSea Aragonite "normally” and save money and time. Can't believe this size difference affects the deep sand layer compared to your standard aragonite, no sir!
