I received them as my first pair of cleats. At first my toes were numb, I changed the insole, it helped but didn't eliminate it. The tongue of the shoe kept falling forward in the boot and had to be pulled back, but it's quite difficult to keep pulling the tongue back without it cutting into my ankle at the front. These are decent shoes for the price and if you do less than 10 miles on a ride these are fine. For a little longer, invest more in a pair of cycling shoes. They are NOT comfortable for long distance rides.
