My fridge works better on propane, but something else is wrong!

This may be the best purchase I have ever made from Revain or anywhere else. My Dometic RV double sided fridge ran fine on electricity when plugged in, but when unplugged it would run on propane from time to time and I kept having to reset the knobs and sometimes it would start working again , but sometimes it didn't work and dried the campsite during the day in the mornings, I put the fridge back and it worked during the day with the sun charging the batteries with the smaller solar system, but at night it came on with propane which was obviously really weird, and over time it went out earlier and earlier, to the point where it stopped working propane anymore. and I didn't really know how to solve the problem because I'm not a van fridge technician at all, but I cleaned the back by blowing air through it. I'm hoping maybe it works clean so I get grime or dust that some people say it's their problem but it didn't really work for me but when I opened up the old board I found that the yellow jackets or built something literally adobe houses on my old board. what i was already thinking might be a problem and need replacing so something confirmed i needed to replace my old board and who knows for how long or was this board old because i am not the original owner of my trailer and i did try to remove as much dirt as possible without damaging anything but it didn't help to get my old board working again because it still did the same thing but I ordered another board which Revain used -People said it would work, but it didn't. works for me so i sent it back but they said my model number of Dometic RM 2652 fridge would work with another circuit board but the other circuit board was for newer fridges i think with different product numbers and this one is different, the board actually had 1 less connection down so I contacted Dometic and they recommended one of their other Dometic boards but this board was actually more expensive than this dinosaur board here at Revain and it didn't even look that big because it had the same width but was much shorter top to bottom which bothered me because I didn't really want to buy a second board which again wasn't right although maybe this board could work too and some people said this board would too work for me, so I decided between this board and this, so I ordered this instead, and this es board has temperature control which everyone seems to like because th oh my fridge in the summer doesn't seem to be cold enough in this scorching California heat where I live so temperature control was by far the most important deciding factor in the Choosing this board over another Dometic replacement as this board actually worked so I figured why not try this dinosaur board. Instead because it was cheaper, temperature controlled, exactly the same size as my old board, had way more and got way better reviews than the Dometic board and people said Dometic didn't give them good customer service. either, and everyone said that this board has good instructions and the connections are well listed so I ordered this board hoping I could fix my fridge problem myself without paying an expensive mechanic and the instructions seemed great , along with the board itself listing every connection is on the board so it's pretty cool although I don't really know what each wire does or where each wire comes from on the back of my fridge to be honest but I do was just looking at the paperwork that came with this board dinosaur and I literally wired my old connectors left to right on this new dinosaur board in literally the same order as on my old board, except for the very first connector at the bottom left you only use with a 3 way cooler because mine is only 2 way and i had to use the extra si fuse that came with this board, it's only for a 3-way fridge, but this board has 1 extra connector next to the 3-way connector, which is on the second connector from the bottom right and says it's ground so I literally just skipped that connector, but I literally connected all the other connectors in the same order my old board was on this board and I have the other ground wire that this board has that was not on my old board connected to a screw next to where this board is located and the top connectors were exactly the same and I was just hoping and praying that everything would be ok and that this board would solve my problem would, and after I plugged it back into the back and turned the fridge back on, the indicator light came back twice, but a third time after I did reset the settings. Checking knobs again the check engine light never came on and so far so good, after 24+ hours my fridge is running stable which is almost too good to be true because honestly I thought I'd have to hire an expensive mechanic because some people have told me it could be a dirty connection or an electrode or my igniter or a thermocouple or whatever but so far this dinosaur board seems to have solved my problem and got my fridge working on propane again and I have it's not yet using it under power but i think and hope it will run on power too because my other board ran on power but it only ended up running on power and not propane but so far so good, and than spring coming i could adjust the temp control from 3 to 4 and then maybe in the summer i could move it to 5 on the temp control on this dino board if needed, abe r I don't I didn't change it because it's winter. now and its quite cold closer to the new year so i left this dial on 3 for now but so far this dinosaur board seems to have solved my problem so i am very happy with this purchase and the instructions as well as the actual listings. The board itself literally couldn't be better. UPDATE: About 36 years after it's been working stably the light came on again unfortunately and I've reset the fridge knobs a couple of times and it's been working again, it shows up after a couple of manual knob resets so that tells me it's something else gives wrong other than just replacing this board but this board seems to be working better than my old one which of course is good but it doesn't look like my problems are over because it's been working great for about 1 1/2 days , is fine, however your fridge needs to be running consistently much longer for it to really work properly and consistently to keep your food cold and you don't have to constantly monitor it and see if the indicator light is on all the time or not because your Fridge should work stably without worrying about it, so I just have to try to figure out what else could be the problem now e When I replaced this control module board I felt like it was too good to be true that simply replacing this board would automatically solve all my problems, but I was hoping that would be the case, although it is now looks like replacing this charge is just the beginning of my troubles with my RV fridge. 2. UPDATE: every day or two my fridge turns off and the indicator light comes on so as soon as I see that I reset the buttons and after a reset or two it seems like it's working again so with this new power module board, my fridge is working better than the old one, that was most likely the original, which was maybe about 20 years old, but it's not working stably like it should, so I think I might have to try and replace that Thermocouple through the next one or the electrode or the re-ignition or whatever because I have to constantly monitor the light and whenever the pilot light comes on I reset the knobs and so far it seems like it's going again. again but it's a little annoying and I'm afraid it may stop working but for now I have to do this every day or two but before I replaced my old board with this new one it completely stopped using propane to work so replacing the board definitely helped a lot but there is something else that needs replacing that I have yet to figure out.
