Toxic Smell Good for DVD-Rs

All DVDs and CDRs stink, especially when first opened, but they are exceptionally powerful. I've been through 100 spindles of another brand and they don't smell great, but this brand stinks throughout my office. My spindle is halfway through and I think I'll just give it away and go back to the old brand. I've already inhaled those toxic fumes, I don't want any more! Although they work fine.
