I got this before in light grey exactly a year ago to change the color of the top of my desk and wanted a change so I changed the paper with the black color.After a year of the light grey paper on my desk, the top of my desk did have bits where the paper peeled paint off the top of it.

This doesn't bother me though because I wanted the black color on top after anyway.A mistake I first made with the grey paper and I guess a tip for anyone looking to purchase this is that of course this will not look neat on top of curved surfaces unless you are good at cutting relief lines into the paper.In my experience, if you want the adhesive to be forgiving, you must make all corrections before you smooth out the paper aka before you put pressure on the paper towards the surface that you want the adhesive to be in contact with.
