Getting ready to paint the outside of my house. I bought this tool to check the moisture level of the wood outside after I've pressure washed the siding. Worked very well - fairly consistent readings at multiple points on the surface, and it could easily trap moisture in corners and end joints. Small delicate pins leave no marks on the wood. Easy to read display and small enough to keep in a tool box. The only problem is that you need to have the instructions for changing wood types with you at all times, as there is a huge list on the back to refer to. Given the price and quality, I expect this tool to work well.
