These collars are very cute. I wanted bell collars to save the birds my husband is feeding (not sure if that helps but I didn't have any dead birds). They were too good to pass up. Very affordable and has held up well over the past five months (considering it's only fabric). There is some discoloration (washing can help with this) and flaking from use. Breakaway buckles make it easy to remove when needed. However, we lost our collars for a while when the cats wedged themselves under the chain link fence behind our shed, but we eventually found them. My girls love the colors and although our cats are male they look like little bow ties so it suits everyone. Another note on bells: if your cats are nocturnal (and most are), then the bell can be a little annoying. But I would still buy them again.
