First I would say it works great. I bought a small one for the 24" box at the end of my queen camper bed. The mattress in the RV was uncomfortable so I made a new one and replaced the old one. This new mattress is HEAVY and it was almost impossible to access the storage drawer. I was also worried that the hits wouldn't lift the lid with the heavy stuff on it. I figured if it doesn't fully support and lift the lid it might help so I can lift it and insert a brace to hold it. So I ordered it with high hopes and low expectations. Installed on 12/23/2020. I was like a kid with a new toy. This damn thing works perfectly. I recommend it. I also recommend that you have someone available to help you in case you need a third hand.
