First of all I am new when it comes to cars let alone mods. I bought my BRZ in 2017 and was curious to improve its performance. I connected this inlet pipe to a Perrin high pass filter. I chose this combination based on positive results based on online research. I've read many cases of power loss when using the cold air intake as the factory airbox is said to be well designed. Installation was a bit fiddly, but doable. I had trouble attaching the pipe to the throttle body, but once I did that there were no more problems. In terms of performance, I feel an increase in acceleration and power. It doesn't feel like a big win by any means, but it's there. The noise reduction is obvious, but it's obvious that there's noise at high speeds. So far my MPG has gone up quite a bit. Next time I plan to buy an Invidia N1 Cat Back exhaust.
