The table was really easy to put together but oh my god the chairs were a NIGHTMARE! Some of the holes were misaligned and one of the chairs had a nail stuck where a screw should go so I had to knock it out with a hammer. I think the so-called "transfers" made things worse. You need to better label each piece step by step and indicate which side goes up and down. To be honest I think I turned a few parts upside down but I was so over the second chair that I didn't care lol. I know I'm not the most agile person, but this was more of a headache than it should have been. I gave it 4 stars because it's a good solid table that looks like it will last a long time. Ours arrived in good condition so we had no problems with it as others have mentioned. Next time I'll just buy a ready-made set.
