Firstly, it was incredibly difficult to install. The directions weren't very clear. Don't try to install it yourself. You MUST have a second person to help or it becomes a nightmare. After finally hanging it on the wall, I noticed that after a few days, my TV didn't stand up straight. Thought I didn't install it properly. So I installed it again and made sure I had installed it exactly 3 times. The TV was still crooked. I took it off the wall and on closer inspection I noticed that the metal of the bracket that attached to my TV was bent. So no matter how well I set it up, the TV will always be crooked! The DVD shelf was ok. It seemed unnecessarily cumbersome to just hold a DVD player that weighs maybe 2 pounds. It looked a bit cheap. You get what you pay for - I would recommend getting a better quality mount.
