Review on 🌳 Large Mopani Wood by Zoo Med Laboratories, 16-18 Inches by Jessica Lewis

Two large parts ordered (6 - 18 inch). Both were short, the tallest being 14 inches and the shortest 13 inches. But I kept both because they were tall and had strong personalities. The largest have holes for knots, creating a tunnel inside the product. The second has a section cut out with twists and turns almost the entire length of the piece. Both will be easy for my freshwater crab and shrimp to board. I've started treating them as I expect most will take a little longer. I have been working with this tree for many years. There are lots of tannins but I still have the first piece I bought almost 12 years ago, I still use it and it looks like I just bought it. Plants grow on it easily, and once you've cured them, they don't release tannins into the water. I'd love to see full sizes from 16" to 18", but both pieces are worth keeping and I haven't been able to find these pieces at local pet stores.
