Love the bench, just wish it could hold 8 pairs of shoes but it only holds about 5. If the second shelf went to the end and there were none gave baffle and separate space for boots, it could fit 8. But I like the storage space that is under the pillow and it was hard to find storage and space for 8 pairs. Shoes. The storage is ideal for pet brushes, clothespins and other small items. But I like it, it seems solid. We put a towel on it because we have pets and we can wash and put the towel back on. Although it says not to put in the sun, we have that on our 3 season porch and it seems fine.
