The original block was a bit tricky to pair, but I succeeded not because of the direction but because I kept experimenting until I figured it out. However, once I decided it was worth having more than one, I found it impossible to order just the left light block separately. I had to order three sets. After recently using three devices, despite the instructions telling me I can pair three LED lights to one receiver, I ended up pairing one LED light to one receiver. Another problem I had was that if the rivers were together they would all drain when only one was supposed to.
