Jet-dry works very well for removing lyme deposits off of plumbing fixtures, tile and granite without the use of chemicals that may damage finishes. We have very hard water, so I've gotten a lot of practice! It helps to apply Jet-dry and leave for about 10 minutes then use a plastic knife or, for really tight spaces/fixture details, bamboo skewers, to remove the lyme build up without scratching your fixtures, tile or counter tops. Drying water off of the fixtures after each use helps slow the process but in areas with very hard water such as mine, build up still occurs. Hope this is helpful!
