Maybe my head is too small and my hair too long?

I bought this because it was said to be good for long hair. My hair is thick and almost to my thighs. It barely covers half of my hair due to the elastic band around my head, and all I have on my head is a huge empty lump of tissue. Neither method works. The fabric feels very cheap and doesn't have the soft feel of microfiber and when I take it off my hair is frizzy. I would like to return. I'm glad it was only $12.
