Review on SumpMarine 1/2 HP Submersible Utility Pump: Clean Water Sump Pump with 25’ Cord, Float Switch - Moves Up-To 2,000 Gallons Per Hour for Flooded Areas, Pools, Hot Tubs, Rain Barrels, Ponds by Matt Nichols

This is an excellent pump for fairly large volumes of water. I've used other pumps with success (see picture) but this pump has two advantages: claims to pump dirty/muddy water (other pumps tend to clog) and low cost. This type of pump with a large diameter hose (see picture) will pump much more water than a garden hose. I use this with a fast banjo jack. The pump was connected to the banjo connector using a Lowes flexible connector (see image). The float should be secured, but it still only inflates to a few inches. I use this to pump out a low spot in the yard.
