Review on Hyundai Quad Core Processor Storage Android Computers & Tablets by Michael Hudson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressive in this price range

Pros: For $200 you get it. CPU = Helio P60 8-core (same speed as Samsung Galaxy A7 10.4 - Snapdragon 662) GPU = Mali-G72 MP3 (same speed as Galaxy A7 10.4 - Adreno 610) RAM = 4GB (per 1GB more than Galaxy A7) storage = 6GB of the 128GB hard drive was used on first boot Crisp text and vibrant colors on screen Bubble free film installed (so I was wondering if the unit was returned by someone else who only had a screen protector left on; there is no mention of screen protector in Hyundai spec sheet). like Samsung like Bixby etc. (except for some stock Android apps which can be disabled) Very simple and clean interface with minimal distractions Speakers sound quality is average or maybe a bit better FM radio works (cable required) for headphones and for antenna , but you can select a speaker for sound output) Netflix works fine - both download and instant playback Video conferencing works fine (zoom a bit) Protective cases for certain models are not available (which is an absolute must for a tablet of this size) , however see the Covers section below No obvious way to close all open apps at once (this may be a limitation of the stock Android system) No support for Android 10 desktop mode, even with 3rd party apps (eg. Lawnchair, Taskbar 6.0) - Note that this is a CPU limit not the e-mail application developed by the Hyundai Chiki development team. This is a big problem on non-Samsung Androids because almost every Android email app (paid or free) is spyware, cyberstalking or ad tracking with a few exceptions - and two exceptions are problematic, K-9 Mail and FairEmailNeutral: The battery charges slower than I'm used to, but when it's full (100%) it powers the tablet for a longer period of time - possibly several hours with constant use (WLAN on, LTE off, cellular off) Camera flash/ -Light not super bright but acceptable Would be nice, the speakers are a bit better, but I don't want to complain at this price/performance ratio. Not tested: Voice over Cellular / call quality. LTE/4G speed tests (LTE bands: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 28, 39). SMS app - you should too) Other: I had a hard time deciding between this $200 tablet and the $250 Samsung A7 10.4 2020. Samsung makes great products but adds too much cyber harassment malware these days (Bixby, Galaxy Store, Samsung Internet Browser, Samsung Cloud, Samsung Passport, IOT Scan, NFC Scan, etc. etc.) that don't can be completely disabled/removed. . And NO, forcing the user to agree to another legal spyware license agreement is not a disable/remove feature. Hyundai appears to be a relative newcomer to the "quality" Android tablet market. This tablet is suitable for everyday business (video conferencing - zoom, document editing - onlyoffice, PDF recycle bin, email messages, calendar management, etc.) and personal entertainment (Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.), etc., music , 3D games, etc.), but probably not the best choice for a camera and video device (too big and not enough image quality). Cases: There are no cases for this tablet model. However, if you check the dimensions, button placement, and camera ports of other 10-inch tablets, you'll find cases that work, but might require minor tweaks. For example, I tried three different cases that fit the Yelyouth 10.1 as this tablet is very close to the HyTab Pro. 10.1 for button/camera size and position. I use this one. Holds the tablet securely. Second option: DETUOSI --> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083FRR2DK/ Fits but needs to be cut to reveal the power button. Very minimalist case in terms of tablet protection in a case. Third option: Fintie --> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VFR3YBL/ Not suitable as the tablet protrudes at the corners and needs to be shortened.
