Transfer rates hovered around 4MB/s, never hit 10MB/s, and were often below 1MB/s. This is slow speed USB 2 with the maximum speed being 60MB/s or 480MB/s. (Bits and bytes - eight bits = 1 byte, so 480 Mbit/s = 60 MB/s. Note that the uppercase "B" stands for bytes and the lowercase "b" stands for bits. Multiply the bits by eight, to get bytes.)
