I've been looking for something to use in place of the Alice and Malice clips for the connection and it seems to work! I don't know how heavy they are but they sure fit well and are easy to use. Be careful how much material you put in the clip as it can hold up to 3 layers of material but the overlapping material will buckle the plastic quite a bit.
