I've been looking for something to use in place of the Alice and Malice clips for the connection and it seems to work! I don't know how heavy they are but they sure fit well and are easy to use. Be careful how much material you put in the clip as it can hold up to 3 layers of material but the overlapping material will buckle the plastic quite a bit.

I failed after filling my maxpedition glove bag to a full maxpedition FR-1 bag. 2 used it was ok but didn't hold up strong enough to open. I will return them this week. Ideal for storing belts. I love them for handling/taming the cocks on the straps. They worked so well that floppy stories are a thing of the past in many of my backpacks.
