I bought this set because the hair rollers are big and they are all the same size. I use them for volume and smoothness. They are perfect for my hair texture. My hair is straight and not thick, but not thin either. The rollers heat up without burning your fingers. They are heated by struts so there is no gap on the reel like other kits. They are heated lid down, the lid is hinged and the top is flat. Plus storage. The cord can be wrapped around the base, which is also convenient for storage. The clips are stored on the front of the device, another big plus. All sets must have clip memory. I haven't tried the steam application, but I didn't buy it either. The only downside is that the bobby pins don't hold hair well, thick hair is easier to hold. I have the perfect clips from the previous set so I'll use them. The clip on the left is included. The smaller clip on the right is what works best for me. I am very happy with this set and will definitely buy it again.
