This is great value. It's easier to install if you have two people. Installation was a little grumpy, but having the C-clamps helps a lot. The pieces don't all fit together perfectly. It may be intentional. Once you've assembled it, the tension between the parts renders them completely immobile. There is a technical term for this, but I can't remember which one. You can rock the whole jeep by pulling the strut. The stand doesn't bend at all. No squeak. I would buy this product again. It's about 22 inches from the bottom of the jeep to the bottom of the luggage rack. Approximately 11 inches from the top of the rail post to the top of the door.
