The product should have a clear warning label to avoid twisting the trays. They serve to extract ice cubes by pressing from below. When I first took the trays out of the freezer, I twisted one to remove the cubes (I foolishly thought they looked like other plastic ice cube trays in my experience) and they easily broke in half. I did not repeat this mistake. But later I found that removing the cube was tedious and hard on my fingers. I have bandages on both index fingers for cuts I sustained while removing dice from these bowls. I won't be returning them because they're only $6.50, but I'll replace them with trays that are easier to unload.
