The software does not work. Tech Support Garbled - Backup IMPOSSIBLE
WD My Book Backup SW not working on new SSD when using Win 10. WD My Book HW is recognized by the processor and can copy files manually but cannot perform a full backup. WD Backup SW could not repeat "device not found" even with technical "support". 2 hours on the phone with 3 different WD support techs in an Indian accent so thick they were unintelligible. Tier 2 techs and they couldn't even fix it remotely. Multiple WD SW installs, uninstall, reinstall = terrible software and support
