I was looking for a base with a metallic finish or pure metal. Tired of the black plastic. I also like the grid more in general. And of course I need lumbar support as I have back problems. Sitting in front of the computer has become the main working posture. Unfortunately, the long working hours gave me back problems. This chair is the lowest price I can find that meets these requirements. I know there are better ones, they will probably cost 2 or 5 times more. I don't want a chair that lasts forever. Because I chose it, I like the form factor. Although the materials could be more robust. The net could be tighter. But overall I'm happy with what I got for what I paid for.
