Superb Bed Frames, Frames & Bases

This frame was pretty easy to put together. My two installation tips: 1. Only tighten the screws when everything is in place, and 2. You need a small hammer to press in the slats. I like the storage space under the bed. I have small fabric cubes to place on the side you see and plastic storage for the other side. When I added the mattress and gel topper, the top of the bed was far enough off the floor that my dogs couldn't jump on it. This is exactly what I needed.

Pros
  • Fully durable bed frame with platform for use as a single mattress (no box spring required); 500 lbs. Capacity
Cons
  • Without machine gun

Looks solid, has flaws.

I was able to assemble the bed frame in about 30 minutes. The only difficulty I had was getting the four vertical screws holding the legs in the second build. I've found that if you loosen the screws installed in the first step so that there is a little play, the screws unravel fairly easily. "At first I thought I had a broken frame until I discovered it. I use this frame with a 14 inch memory foam mattress that I bought from one of the big warehouses. With a 14" bed frame and 14" mattress, my…

Pros
  • Non-slip double-sided tape is placed on the slats to keep the mattress in place
Cons
  • Not the best

Extremely durable! - Bed frame

It's good to know what problems you might be facing before you click the checkout button included in your shopping cart. I prepared the tools I knew I needed (see photo above). Yes, you will need these tools to assemble this frame, so go ahead and gather everything you need. The useless wrench that comes with them is a waste of time and a "knuckle" (to put it mildly). Yes, you need a rubber mallet. In my case, I ran into a BIG error right out of the box! (See photos of the BENT post). Rather…

Pros
  • 11 legs for extra support and durability; Protective plastic feet and corners prevent bumps and floor damage
Cons
  • Could have chosen a more recent model

Watch your build carefully! (UPDATED)

I've been making my own since the hollow days. I LOVE to pack so I was happy to unpack and assemble this frame even though I had just finished a 12 hour shift even though I didn't have a mattress to put it on. (I've already resigned myself to spending at least one more night on the living room's 2-seater sofa, which folds out into a sofa bed.) The instructions were easy enough, although I don't understand why "HL" ( presumably "head left") and "FR" (assuming "foot right") are on the same side…

Pros
  • Easy assembly with all necessary tools and hardware
Cons
  • Available in black only
