This item does NOT support plug and play with Windows 10. A small note in the quick start guide says that for Windows 10 you need to download the VLC driver. First, their instructions require you to go to a page where you need to purchase a $10 per month subscription. Without doing what you're told, but by clicking on a separate download tab, you can install the driver. However, it is mainly an audio or video player application that does not give you the option to see the disc, especially when you are working with a data disc, burning discs or copying.
