I avoid microfiber bedding. I was disappointed a few years ago when I tried it. It's been quite a while and reading all the positive reviews I thought maybe enough time has passed and maybe there have been improvements. I am pleased to report that this bed sheet set is very soft and very comfortable. They are airy and light. What attracted me the most was the color. It goes great with my bed and duvet so I chose it. The price is nice too. Firstly, there are no unpleasant smells when unpacked. Washed a few times, washed well. The fabric itself is very thin, you can see through it if you hold it up to the light, but it feels like a sturdy set of sheets. Maybe that's why it's airy and breathable. It feels like sleeping on soft, worn old cotton sheets. The only thing that didn't impress me that much and could use some improvement is the line itself. In particular, the fitted sheet looks like labels were used in the sewing. Like they sewed a long edge and just pulled an elastic through it. It's loose and not attached to the fabric at all, so the fabric can be folded into a section and slided from side to side, just like you open and close curtain panels. In my opinion, this is poor attention to quality. Pillowcases are sewn funny too. Edges folded at the ends of the cases, only one side is a sewn edge and the other is left loose and simply folds inwards. I think they thought it would be nice to leave things like this so the pillow doesn't stick out inside like some pillowcases do, but in this case it doesn't work at all. Sleep. The fabric is comfortable. In my opinion, improving sewing ability will improve quality and rating.
