Review on 📀 Panasonic DVD-S500 Progressive Scan DVD Player (Black) - Enhanced Video/Audio Playback for Various DVD/CD Formats, USB Compatibility for Content Viewing by Carlos Jass

I've started buying and watching a lot of DVDs as I'm in the process of giving up cable TV so wanted a second DVD player, just right for case one i died Now I watch DVDs about 6 hours a day. The one I had at the time was a Panasonic which I've had for about 7 years and knew it was getting old so I bought a cheap LG to replace as I have an LG TV that works great and I wanted one two different TVs. Brands of DVD players (I didn't want both DVD players to turn on when I wanted to turn on only one). I didn't have time to plug in my LG DVD player and after about a week my old Panasonic started freezing so much that I had to unplug it and plug it back in about every 2 hours so I started looking for another DVD player player to replace the Panasonic and bought a Sony because I connected a Sony to another TV and I thought it worked fine with no problems. I picked up Sony and hooked it up. As soon as I plugged it in, the LG started making a loud popping noise about every 5 minutes. I thought it was the DVD so I tried the Sony DVD and it worked fine. I went online and read some reviews on LG and saw that two other people had a loud popping noise. Since the LG was only a month old I returned it and got a refund. Found this Panasonic and thought since my first Panasonic lasted so long I'd give this one a try, hopefully it will last as long as the first one. This one is pretty basic, but it's perfect for what I want it for, at least for now. I watch a lot of old TV shows on a DVD player. My Sony works fine but this Panasonic makes noise when transitioning from one show to another but not during the show. Maybe just normal, but not really. If it lasts more than a year I might buy another one, but if not I won't buy it again.
