I installed this because my 18" tarp sags a bit in the middle and bounces around on a bumpy road. This is easy to install but note they DO NOT mention you need a rivet gun to attach the base plate to the side of the RV. Luckily I had one with four nipple sizes as the larger diameter rivets are used. Installation was easy too, just don't press too hard on the test fit to mark the holes. And use a drill stopper or mark the drill with tape as you only need to drill through the side panel. This prevents the awning from sagging or jumping and provides good central support for the awning without impeding its movement.
