This light is perfect for pico lenses. I've been making pico reefs for several years. Could never find the right light. This light is the right color, spectrum, and size. My aquarium only uses about 3 gallons. I have had many problems growing and coloring sps corals in the past. This light completely tinted my test piece, which was completely brown. It is now purple to green, then to blue tips and purple polyps. Also my knees and softies as well as stone flowers have lightened up and are a great colour. I recommend 14 to 20 inches depending on what you're holding. It was great light. On top of the white-green and red LEDs you'll see a diffuser sticker that helps diffuse the light. I don't recommend deleting.
