Screws misaligned to attach top and bottom. Gave up after a frustrating few hours. The top fitted perfectly and looked normal. I bought it to hang my bath towels to dry, we reuse them in our house. Many reviewers say this is a shaky foundation. Trust them, it's wobbly, the four support legs aren't aligned to lay flat on the ground. It would be what I was looking for if it continued. I didn't expect it to be anything more than it is, a cheap hanger, but I expected it to be constructed to be used. It's not like this. Maybe all the good reviewers got lucky and got their shelf through the conveyor when everything worked as it should. Also, if you have one that calls and you want to use it for its intended purpose, it won't work for heavy coats. Maybe sweatshirts. We live in New England and our heavy winter coats need something stronger and more durable than this. I would keep turning. I'll disassemble and look for money.
