Don't leave it in the bin for too long before throwing it away!
It's probably okay if you fill it up and throw it away right away. I used it to line the bucket and didn't empty it for about a month (it wasn't anywhere near full, I was trying to be thrifty). The bag didn't last. It may have started to decompose, which would normally be good. I haven't investigated the reason for the failure as it was used for dog poop.
