this baby is a life changer! We have a German Shepherd who is NOT a dainty drinker. He practically sticks his whole face in the bowl and slops water everywhere. We had a running joke about the "river" in the laundry room - even though his water bowl was on a large plastic tray, which sat on a big piece of cardboard, and all of it was surrounded by towels.It took a few minutes for him to figure out how to use the new water bowl (and yes, I pushed it down for him the first couple of times) but the difference is amazing. The bowl is still on the plastic tray because sometimes he gets a little excited and tries to hold the top part of it down with his foot, but 90% of the time, there's no river. Or even a creek. Which means I can walk through the laundry room in my socks and not get them soppy wet.I recommended it to a co-worker with two sloppy drinkers and she loves it too. So if you are on the fence about whether it will work, the answer is a resounding YES!
