Annoying alignment, easy to damage, carry marks from previous prints to new prints

After some work, I mainly only use it for prints with a large underside that is difficult to remove from the glass. Otherwise I use normal glass mirror tiles. The biggest issue with this finish is actually an issue with the printer itself. The CR-10 uses a metal core circuit board as the base of the build platform, which is notoriously not flat. On my printer, even with the platen center raised and the 9-point ABL, this removable surface still imparts enough bottom layer unevenness to cause an uneven first layer. Maybe I should have put it on the glass. I might try that if I can pull it off without damaging it. In addition, the surface is easily damaged and has a permanent nick in the center due to limit switch failures and Z-house height issues (neither are magnetic surface failures, but care must be taken with them). Another annoyance is that the textured surface tends to hold residue from previous prints, so I got some smudges on some prints with light threads. black on the underside of the previous black print. Other black prints were left with a hazy residue showing the underside of other earlier prints. On the plus side, it tends to separate easily from finished prints, which is why I still use it for large base prints. Otherwise, a smooth, perfectly flat surface is much more beneficial and gives much better results.
