Every kitchen should have this. I love adding fresh herbs to most of my meals. What a brilliant gadget to make it easier. Just cut and you're done. I use a lot of spring onions in different dishes. This was my main goal for ordering this item. It doesn't disappoint. It even cut multiple stalks at once, although I'd recommend using less to maximize the cutting power of the blades. I have found that I can easily cut green stems. However, when it comes to larger onions, I cut them individually. I particularly like the dual purpose of the guard, serving to protect the blades in storage. The top of this guard also helps keep the blades clean after chopping herbs or the like. Brilliant design!
