The thing is a joke and TOTALLY a waste of money. I think I waited too long because there is no way to return it. I have black ornamental sand in an aquarium with a striped raphael catfish. I think that thing choked in the sand. When first used it stopped working after a few seconds. That makes no sense. Useless. Garbage. What frustrates me more than losing money is the fact that I have to throw everything in the landfill. I try to minimize that. Another problem is that the instructions are a joke. If you design, manufacture, and market a product, make at least a few videos on how to use it. This technology is freely available. Or you could hire a real technical writer to spend a few weeks developing a helpful guide.
