I used these splicer T's to wire 8 LEDs together for a rover I'm building - #18 for the main and #20 for the branches. #18 silicone wire works great with no modification or product trimming. I particularly like the locking rings on the branch side of the hinged lid. Most close with a good latch. Some had to push the latch down a bit to stay closed. A few suggestions: Maintain consistent polarity throughout your project. Use the continuity meter before turning it on for the first time. You should not get a continuous beep or a full positive to negative needle reading. A small beep or arrow jump as the capacitors discharge is normal. Read the instructions. In summary, these little guys get the job done, produce a more professional result than splicing and soldering, and the price is right.
